Water Ripple Stainless Steel

Water ripple stainless steel has a formed, wave-like surface that breaks reflections into flowing highlights. Compare numbered references for decorative wall and ceiling features, with ripple scale, colour and module layout reviewed together.

Understanding Water Ripple.

Ripple scale, direction, module layout, lighting and project-specific thickness.

Appearance & process

Water Ripple gives stainless steel a formed surface that resembles waves or ripples. Pattern options include small, medium, large, flow and raindrop ripples. Reflective and coloured combinations change appearance with lighting and viewing angle. The current library retains numbered Water Ripple references because exact pattern names have not been assigned to each photograph; use the image and code when choosing.

Visual characteristics and advantages

The relief creates changing highlights and distorted reflections as light and viewing angle move. It gives a ceiling or wall a visible surface rhythm. The effect varies with ripple scale, the selected base reflection and the lighting around the feature.

Selection considerations

Supply panel or module sizes, joint positions, ripple direction and the intended lighting arrangement. For a ceiling, include the support and access information needed by the project team. Select by image and reference code; the numbered photographs do not establish a universal ripple size, thickness or structural specification.

Architectural applications

Discuss water ripple metal for restaurant ceiling features, hotel wall elements or other decorative architectural metalwork. FABRITERA's Salamanca case documents a water-ripple ceiling with integrated lighting. It provides a project example of the assembled effect without assigning the same pattern or dimensions to every library reference.

Fabrication considerations

Provide module boundaries, finished sizes, joint details and the intended lighting layout. For ceiling features, include information about supports, interfaces and access requirements for the project team. FABRITERA develops fabrication details around the proposed construction; structural calculations or statutory design services are separately arranged when required. Review pattern continuity across modules alongside handling and surface protection.

Questions to help your selection

How should water ripple ceiling panels be selected?

Compare the ripple at the expected viewing distance and lighting conditions. Review module arrangement, joints and the metal construction alongside the selected appearance reference.

Do the reference photographs define an exact ripple depth?

No. Use the image and code to identify the visual direction, then confirm the actual pattern, relief and material construction for the proposed component.

Care & protection

Agree the cleaning and protection method for the selected formed surface, base finish and colour treatment. Confirm the final pattern, component construction and appearance reference before production. Sheet width options and a sample photograph do not establish the size of a finished ceiling assembly.

What to share with us

Send the selected reference code with a drawing, CAD file, rendering or reference image, approximate dimensions, quantity and intended environment. Mark the visible faces and explain how the component will be used. If you have a material grade, colour sample or cleaning requirement, include it. FABRITERA reviews the manufacturing details and confirms the agreed finish and colour reference for the proposed component.
